Warning – sham booking request – Credit card scammers – Hotel booking fraud

Mr. Cleams sent us a reservation request for several people. After some correspondence, we were informed of the payment terms. Instead of the amount of € 7000.00 we should charge the credit card with € 9000.00. The deposit of € 3500.00 for our booking, we should pass on the remaining amount to a tour operator. We would receive information about the tour operator after the transaction. Up to this point we had no details about the credit card. After the last mail we decided to write this warning. Please be careful when dealing with emails and passing on information.
