After-work bike tour on the environmental day "Close to nature - living well in the city" Frankfurt-Oder

In cooperation with the ADFC e.V., the German-Polish bicycle group and the local association of NABU e.V., the city administration of Frankfurt (Oder) organizes a bicycle tour along the green spaces of the city. The tour will start on Thursday 5th June at 4pm from City Hall. Stations will be the Ziegenwerder, the Eichwald, the Mühlental, the Anger and the Lenné-Park. It is planned that the participants will find out things worth knowing about each of these places and receive interesting background information. The destination of the approximately 10-kilometer route will again be the town hall. Afterwards there is the opportunity to stop off together in a locality and let the evening end comfortably.
An intact environment is no longer a matter of course today, because the diversity and health of nature are threatened by humans. For this reason, on June 5, 1972, the United Nations Environment Program established World Environment Day. World Environment Day has been celebrated in Germany every year since 1976. More than 100 countries worldwide take part in this day. This year's motto is: "Close to nature - live well in the city".
The city administration of Frankfurt (Oder) and all supporting actors cordially invite all citizens to take part in the bike tour.
