Climbing the tower of the Sankt Marienkirche in Frankfurt-Oder

Until the last weekend in September, Frankfurt residents and tourists have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the tower in the Marienkirche Frankfurt (Oder) and take a look at the new ringing of the bells and get a bird's-eye view of the city.
Guided tours take place on Fridays at 2 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Registrations for the guided tower ascents can be made by telephone on 0335 22442 in the Marienkirche. The Tourist Information also accepts bookings. Telephone: 0335 325216, e-mail: info@tourismus-ffo.de. The tickets cost 5 euros per person. A family ticket is available for 16 euros. The number of participants per tour is limited to 10 people.

Since August 2014, there has been a new audio tour to go with the permanent exhibition “Brick Gothic and Picture Bible – St. Mary's Church and its Art Treasures”. The visitor learns interesting facts about the Marienkirche in Frankfurt under 14 menu items within an hour.
