In 2014, to mark the 300th birthday of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, the music festival in Frankfurt-Oder will be celebrated in a very special way. As the second son of the world-famous composer Johann Sebastian Bach, he lived in Frankfurt-Oder, studied law at the European University Viadrina and, in his spare time, significantly shaped the musical life in the double city of Frankfurt-Oder/Slubice.
From February 28th to March 9th his best-known works will be heard in Frankfurt-Oder.
